NOM-039-SEMARNAT-1993 that establishes the maximum permissible levels of emission to the atmosphere of sulfur dioxide and trioxide and sulfuric acid mist, in manufacturing plants of sulfuric acid.

NOM-123-SEMARNAT-1998, That establishes the maximum permissible contents of volatile organic compounds, in the fabrication of solvent based air dry paints for domestic use and the procedures for the determination of the contents of the same in paints and coatings.
