Esta Norma Oficial Mexicana establece las especificaciones que debe cumplir el producto denominado polvo químico seco tipo BC, a base de bicarbonato de sodio, destinado para uso en extintores como agente extinguidor de fuegos B y C y sus métodos de prueba correspondientes, para ser utilizados en conatos de incendio de los centros de trabajo.

This Official Mexican Standard establishes the specifications that Type BC sodium bicarbonate based dry chemical powder products must comply with, designated for use in extinguishers as extinguishing agents for B and C fires, and their corresponding testing methods, utilized for fighting the beginnings of fires, in the workplace.
