1. Objective and field of application

La presente Norma Oficial Mexicana, establece las especificaciones, los requisitos mínimos de seguridad y los métodos de prueba para la conexión integral, la conexión integral flexible, la conexión flexible y la conexión con punta POL que se utilizan en las instalaciones de aprovechamiento de Gas L.P. o Gas Natural, así como la información que debe exhibirse en el producto y su empaque. Asimismo, establece el procedimiento para la evaluación de la conformidad correspondiente.

This Official Mexican Standard establishes the specifications, the minimum safety requirements and the test methods for the integral connection, the flexible integral connection, the flexible connection and the connection with a POL tip that are used in the installations for the use of LP Gas. or Natural Gas, as well as the information that must be displayed on the product and its packaging. Likewise, it establishes the corresponding procedure for the evaluation of conformity.
