NOTIFICATION:

NOM-002-CONAGUA-2021, Appliances and accessories for sanitary use. was published in the DOF on November 29, 2022 and takes full effect on May 28, 2023

The Official Mexican Standard, once it takes effect, will cancel the following standards “NOM-005-CONAGUA-1996, Flushometers - specifications and Methods of Test;" “NOM-009-CONAGUA-2001, Toilets for use sanitary-specifications and methods of proof” and “NOM-010-CONAGUA-2000, Valve of admission and valve Flush tank for toilet tank-specifications and test methods,” published in the Daily Official of the Federation on July 25, 1997; August 2, 2001 and 2 of September of 2003, respectively.

 

 

*Change in name - Published on January 14, 2009 in the DOF.  The CNA = "Comisión Nacional de Agua" (National Water Commission is changed to CONAGUA = "Comité Consultivo Nacional de Normalización del Sector Agua", National Consultative Committee of Standardization of the Water Sector - CNA is changed to CONAGUA in all the water standards.
